About Eastlawn Records...

The Eastlawn label was founded in 1990 by Frank Traum with help from his high school pal RJ Spangler, to release great music that they both believed in. Along the way, RJ has become a full half-owner of the label with Frank and they have released many recordings of jazz, blues, African inspired music and even some rock. All with a distinctive Detroit flavor.
